After 10 days, the producers’ strike has finally been called off. And all telly fans can heave a sigh of relief, as the production houses will resume filming tonight itself so that fresh episodes can be aired from Monday onwards. We spoke to the vice president of the producer’s association, Dheeraj Kumar, who heads Creative Eye a production house.

EMI is a raucous, digressive comedy, offering some laughs and for real life loan defaulters, it mocks and celebrates. On its course, there are some bittersweet experiences of personal lives on individuals caricatured.

EMI (Easy Monthly Installments), the innovative title, perhaps you would’ve foreboded quite a little of substance. Well, it’s a flick that doesn’t stride much on its theme of bank, loans and defaulters. But has lots of resemblance on panoramas of Munnabhai – a good-hearted gawk; performed by Sanjay Dutt.

Express your appraisals for a great show of concept; but it’s just a flattery ennobling same credits for story and screenplay. It’s just hop-skipping from realistic theme to clichéd ho-hum masala where a ‘Bhai’ not just recovers pending loans from deadbeats, but transforming their personal lives too.

Indeed, the biggest production house in India joining hands with the ever best studios of Hollywood Walt Disney Pictures is a cock-a-hoop for all. With animation flicks of several foreign countries bringing home the bacon across the World, India lags far behind. Many of our Indian professionals have presented their top-notched outputs in Hollywood animation films. When it comes to Indian Animation film, none of them shored with grandeur. If you had ever thought, budget was our only constraint? Might be, but not for a greater extent. Despites, the same talented animators and greatest producers involved, many of the films are just mediocre.

The crew members of the forthcoming television show “Oye… It’s Friday” became a bunch of surprised on lookers as they saw the man who is today considered as the perfect youth icon, a great film maker, a truly versatile personality and the host of the new talk show being extremely down to earth and  helping them out in whatever ways it is possible for him to show his support.

Noted Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, who successfully cast magic spells in Bollywood playing versatile roles, is venturing to do a film in Tamil now.

The handsome actor will play the lead role in a movie titled ‘Aranya Kandam’, to be produced by Capital Film Works. Kumara Raja, who penned the script for ‘Oram Po’ and worked as associate to ‘Rajeev Menon’ and ‘Pushkar – Ghayathri’, is directing the film.

The movie has Sampath Raj and Ravikrishna playing prominent roles. Impressed with the storyline, Jackie readily agreed to do the film.

At a time when Tamil actresses and technicians are going to Bollywood, Kollywood is getting ready to welcome a prominent actor from Mumbai to play a lead role in a Kollywood film.
