Knomo’s computer luggage has been called “The Louis Vuitton of laptop carriers”–and I can’t disagree. While I loved each Knomo bag available, I have to take the advice of a Purseuing reader and choose to highlight the Cholet. The black and camel leather bag comes with a strap that fits both over your shoulder and in your hand with detachable shoulder padding. The “Trieste” laptop suspension cell protects your priceless mobile maven while the separate document section keeps all your important papers in line. An additional bag is included for makeup and/or cables. The best thing about this $236 bag: It doesn’t look like a laptop bag. The worst thing: It only fits 14.5-15 inch laptops.

This just might be the answer for all you computer-savvy women out there carrying around big, black laptop bags. I have personal experience with this ridiculous bag-carrying behavior as I own such a bag, but am proud to say I am now in the recovery phase of this horrible illness. Today I made my first step toward sanity and am buying this adorable computer tote from Mobile Edge. Another wonderful feature of this bag is that you can remove the entire computer section and carry it just like an everyday tote.

I’m slowly finding out that there simply aren’t enough cute laptop bags out there. I refuse to get excited about any boring black one that looks like it should be carried by my dad, so I’m now resorting to showing you one that appears to be only available across the pond. This leather laptop bag from from designers Lin and Leo is absolutely fabulous. It has a padded pocket inside for your laptop, and zip and fastening and front pockets on the outside. It’s available in turquoise with pink lining, raspberry with turquoise lining or brown with pink lining for £90. I’m not sure if you can have it shipped to the U.S. or not, but this thing is worth begging them to.

Among many other beautiful totes and laptop bags found on Talene Reilly’s site, the very classy and fresh Reese bag is definitely my favorite. According to the company, this bag is for both “client presentations” as well as “sun salutations” with its versatile style and appeal. The bag features four interior pockets, an exterior pocket and measures 14.5 x 12 x 4.5 inches. Shown here in khaki and gold, Talene Reilly’s $288 Reese (along with all her bags) come with a matching Carly laptop sleeve that normally sells for $88. The tote also comes in black, creamsicle and white, and chocolate and white patent leather.

Brought to us by the same folks who created The Tote, Acme Made has expanded their popular line of computer bags to include the new and stunning Slim Cargo. As part of the Slim collection, the Cargo uses imported textiles for quality and style as well as cell foam padding on all sides for the kind of protection consistently found in Acme Made goods. Some features that are unique to the Slim Cargo bag are the large exterior compartment that unzips to reveal an array of accessory pockets and the new “cashmere-finish” micro-suede that lines the functional pouch. The Slim Cargo is offered in many different fabrics and patterns including the lovely silver quatrefoil (shown) and is priced between $140 and $250 accordingly.

Am I the only one passionately in love with Orla Kiely’s bags? The Fluorescent Trim Canvas Portfolio is yet another case of a simple design that turns out looking pleasantly urban and sophisticated. While gray canvas keeps up the briefcase’s conventional appearance, the bright orange trim instantly brings out its free-spirited personality. The interior of the bag features large pockets for documents and a laptop while the outside sports a large front pouch. I’m digging the two hand-held straps shown here but there is a longer, detachable strap included for those who prefer to carry it over the shoulder. The Fluorescent Trim Canvas Portfolio by Orla Kiely sells for $330.

Composition is now offering a handful of Ro bags for women including the attractive Voyage Bag in Pink leather. According to Composition, the bag “has soft curves that are reminiscent of vintage luggage pieces” and I couldn’t agree more. With various interior pockets and a 16 x 12 x 5 inch build, the versatile Voyage bag could easily become the new home for your laptop or even be carried as a fun weekend bag if you wish. Composition also has the Voyage in Turquoise leather and sells either color for $285.
